Don't forget to complete the ACRRM Member Value Survey before 9 February 2026.
As the College continues to evolve its programs, services, and benefits, ACRRM has launched the Member Value Survey to understand member needs and priorities better.
The survey questions focus on identifying key priorities for membership services, programs, and advocacy. By taking part, you will directly shape how the College delivers value to members in the future.
ACRRM recognises essential role of primary health care nurses
Marking Primary Health Care Nurses Day (4 February) , ACRRM President Dr Rod Martin says primary health care nurses are indispensable members of Rural Generalist-led teams delivering care in rural, remote and First Nations communities.
“Primary healthcare nurses work side-by-side with Rural Generalists to provide coordinated, patient-centred care, often in settings where health services are stretched and alternatives are limited,” he says.
“Their dedication to the wellbeing of patients and colleagues deserves recognition, especially on days like today.”
Dr Martin says the theme ‘Essential at every stage’ captures the central role of primary health care nurses across prevention, treatment and ongoing support.
