Member support to prepare for natural disasters

With the season for natural disasters such as bushfires, floods, and storms upon us, now is the time to prepare.

Members are encouraged to explore the resources available on the College’s Natural Disaster Readiness and Recovery page to help minimise the impact of these events.

It is equally important to prioritise the safety of your family and property while maintaining your commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare to your community. ACRRM offers a range of support services, including access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), a dedicated wellbeing coordinator, and additional online resources.

Protecting health professionals from scams: How to keep your PRODA account secure

The Australian Government is reminding health professionals to be vigilant against scams. Scammers are targeting health professionals to gain access to their Provider Digital Access (PRODA) accounts. They often impersonate trusted organisations, including government agencies.

They may:

  • Contact people by phone, email, text message, or social media.
  • Try to deceive health professionals into sharing personal or business information, such as passwords or banking details.

For more information, including what to look out for and who to contact, please read this fact sheet.
